Conditions

Application period : 13.3. - 15.5.2024
International Jury of an odd member will be announced on this web site. Decisions of the Jury are definitive.
Eligible for application are singers (either sex) of all nationalities who have NOT yet reached their 36th birthday (max.) during the preliminary round of the competition.
Contestants are required to prove their identity and age before the competition starts. The competition has three rounds (women and men together).
The contestant is not allowed to repeat any aria in the final round which was already sung in the competition.
The contestants have to perform all pieces from memory.
Preliminary repertory changes are allowed until May 15, 2024.
The semifinalist has to choose the repertory for the semifinal and final round until September 10,2024 and send it via email: info@operamladych.com
Transposing of scenes is not allowed.
From the final round, the organizer pays for the hotel.
The repertory must be performed in the original language.
The competition is public and non/anonymous.
Accompanying piano players shall be made available to the contestants by organizer free of charge. The contestants are entitled to being accompanied by a piano player of their personal confidence at their own cost.
The International singing competition have the world rights to record and broadcast on radio or television or any other existing or future recording.
If the participant is not able to participate in preliminary live audition in any city listed below, he/she can send the video recording via youtube. com. This must be marked in the application form and the link of recording has to be filled in, too. Required is one aria accompanied by piano of own choice (not edited). The recording must be not older than 12 months.
Through his/her act of registration in the competition, the contestant agrees to accept these competition rules, as well as the decisions of the Jury.

The contestant agrees with the eventual public audio or video recording without any claim to the fee.

The contestants have to fill in the online application form by May 15, 2024 at the latest.
The capacity of the competition is limited. In case of interest, please send the application form as soon as possible

In the Preliminary live audition, the participant chooses one aria by own choice.
The organizer may change or cancel any place of Preliminary live audition no later than May 15, 2024. In this case, participants will be offered an alternative place and date of the Preliminary live audition. If the participant does not accept this option, the fee will be fully refunded.
The participants will be notified no later than May 20, 2024 about the exact address and timing of the Preliminary live audition.
The results about advanced semifinalists will be send to all participants via email until August 30, 2024.
The semifinalist has to choose the repertory for semifinal and final round until September 10, 2024 and send it via email: info@operamladych.com

The Semi final round (October 12, 2024 - Jihlava, CZECH REPUBLIC)

In the Semifinal, the participant chooses one aria by own choice (MAY be different or NOT from the arias of the Preliminary live audition).

Final round (October 13, 2024 - Jihlava, CZECH REPUBLIC)

In the Final round, the participant chooses one aria by own choice (MUST be different from arias presented in the Preliminary live audition and Semi final rounds).
From the final round, the organizer pays for the hotel.

GALA CONCERT of the winners (October 14, 2024 - Jihlava, CZECH REPUBLIC)

The festive proclamation of the competition results and the prize-giving ceremony will take place at the Closing Gala concert of the winners.
All the winners must attend and perform at the Closing Gala concert.
The first three winners are required to perform at the winner’s concerts which are planned from October 14, to October 17, 2024, when organizers ask for it. Otherwise, they lose claim to the prize. The organizer pays for the accommodation.

FEES

In the preliminary round, participants pay for their travel and accommodation expenses.
Participation fee: 100EUR.
Application fee has to be paid according to the information which will be sent to applicant via email.
